A Man Called Ove

The design is inspired from the struggling main character, Ove, and his neighbors. Wood cut letters inspired by Ove's woodworking past also work to show how his neighbors help keep him up throughout the book.

Front and spine. A constant theme throughout the book was Ove's suicide attempts, with one of them being by means of hanging. "A Man Called" is straight and even because, as mentioned above, it represents his neighbors being a stable and supportive part in his life.
